Over the last decade, Mr. Stephens has concentrated his practice in the areas of inactive hazardous waste site remediation and natural resource damage assessment. He has been active in complex litigation as well as alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes. His recent focus has been Superfund megasites and the unique issues they raise, including contaminated sediment remediation, natural resource damage assessment, financial assurance mechanisms, and financial reporting of environmental risks.
